Using creative stories to illustrate concepts, a workshop coordinator and students tell how expectations from others and from ourselves help develop self-esteem. The effects of positive versus negative expectations, and how we face personal challenges, provide insight into how we perceive ourselves. The program concludes with a challenge to improve self-esteem through "what if" expectations. A supplement is included.
