Overview

CEV Multimedia, Ltd., founded in 1984, is on the forefront of innovative educational materials. CEV specializes in providing quality curriculum and educational resources for the subject areas of Agricultural Science & Technology, Business & Marketing, Family & Consumer Sciences, Trade & Industry and Career Orientation.

With an extensive instructional library of more than 43,000 edited minutes of video, CEV is the nation's leading producer of Career & Technical Education (CTE) educational materials, producing multimedia-based courses of study, both year-long and semester. Throughout the company's 30 year history, CEV has always teamed with recognized specialists, educators and publishers nationwide to create quality, accurate and appropriate content in efforts to retain student interest and facilitate learning.

Over the years, CEV has been recognized for many awards for both excellence in content creation and exemplary business practices, including The Media of Excellence Award (National Association of Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture), Service Award (National Grading & Marketing Association, USDA) and most recently named to both the Governor's State of Texas Small Business Award and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Blue Ribbon Small Business Award (recognize 75 per year, nationwide) lists.

In 2012, CEV introduced iCEV, an online platform revolutionizing the way CEV produces and delivers educational content. iCEV is the most comprehensive, online resource for CTE educators and students. With iCEV's learning-on-demand capabilities, video clips stream instantly to PCs, Macs, smartphones, tablets, and essentially any device with Internet capabilities. Organized into learning objectives (i.e. 8 seconds to 34 minutes), the site's sophisticated search feature makes it easy to find desired content. Likened to a living organism, the site is always being updated with new content added each week. Most recently, the development of customized playlists and correlations to state standards have proved to be beneficial for teacher utilization. Online testing and grading along with industry-based certifications are on the horizon.

Regardless of delivery model, CEV's goal is the same - to create engaging curriculum aimed at providing students with the focus and preparation needed for successful transition from K-12 to postsecondary studies to career success, along with providing necessary training for the life-long learner both internationally and within industry.
